Try to opt for Greek for added cultures. Make sure to watch for acesulfame potassium ( 200 times sweeter than sugar this is a poorly tested sweetener ) and Sucralose ( Splenda and the like, chemically treated sugar , unable to be broken down by our bodies, 100 times sweeter than sugar.
Try some of these new products:
Icelandic ( Skyr ): Less tart than most greek yogurts. Most flavors (except Coconut) have 15 grams of protein 130 calories, 1 gram of saturated fat, and 2½ teaspoons of sugar per 5.3 oz. tub.
YQ by Yoplait: 15 g of protein and 9 grams of sugar per 5.3 oz. 130 calories. Also less tart.
Chobani new hint of fruit: Lowfat. 120 calories. 15 g of protein, 11 sugar grams per 5.3 oz and 1.5% milk fat. They have some really nice flavor.
As always, the best is plain greek with your own added fresh or frozen fruit . Try it blended with banana and touch of honey. Like ice-cream for breakfast. ( Or hey, just have the ice-cream, kidding)
