EAT HEALTHY & GET ACTIVE! SLASH YOUR RISK OF TYPE 2 DIABETES

One out of three adults now have prediabetes. Nine out of ten of them don’t know it.  “The good news is that if you have prediabetes, the CDC-led National Diabetes Prevention Program can help you make lifestyle changes to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes and other serious health problems,” says the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Just two simple changes can get you started on the right path.

1. Fill half your plate with fruits and vegetables

2.Get moving .  Aim for 30 minutes per day

Check your insurance plan.  You may be eligible for health coaching coverage.   Most people don’t even know that they are at risk or already have type 2 diabetes.
