Changing up your diet cannot only help prevent inflammation but can help pin the management of the symptoms. Start with a few of these ideas to get you on the right path.
1. Avoid Gluten which has been found to affect the intestinal wall and cause an immune response . Many conditions not just gluten sensitivity can benefit from eliminating this protein found in wheat, barley and rye.
2. Avoid Dairy if you have a sensitivity to lactose and may not be efficient in the enzyme required to break it down leading to digestive disturbances.
3. Avoid refined Sugar which can spike insulin levels and increase inflammatory chemicals. Let us not forget the many other negative effects of added sugars.
